2.1 the emergence of open concept and standard

the open system should pay attention to its own protection to avoid external injury. Once the source code is made public, the original system may be damaged to system developers and users, whether intentionally or unintentionally

from the perspective of system suppliers, security should be increased and safety measures should be set. It provides different degrees of openness to different development objects of different applications according to load measurement methods. For end users, only the execution code of the platform is provided, and users can only obtain the required functions by changing the system configuration; For general middle-level system developers, provide part of the source code of the platform, and change the function of the platform limited; For the underlying system developers, provide all the source code of the platform, that is, fully open. 3.1 shortcomings of traditional control system

from the perspective of the development history of the controller, the previous controller is a special closed architecture. Dedicated has two meanings:

(1) the system hardware is dedicated. The main board and servo circuit board of each manufacturer are specially designed, and there is no interchangeability between manufacturers

(2) the system software structure is dedicated. No portability, no scalability

traditional CNC is a closed special system, which has the following characteristics: the control system is difficult to adapt to the machine tool, especially when the machine tool needs to change the control system, it needs to set a large number of parameters; The control software is special, and each control software depends on the hardware architecture and software design idea of the special control system; Machine tool manufacturers rely heavily on controller suppliers

traditional CNC brings users the following difficulties: it is difficult to integrate equipment and solutions from multiple suppliers; Only limited to add their own functions; Small changes to the machine tool will lead to great changes to the whole system. 3.2 foreign "open" CNC system

the introduction of open control system is a challenge to the shortcomings of traditional CNC products on the one hand, and also benefits from the extensive use of IPC in the field of industrial control. The diversity of users' needs and the rapid development of PC industry, especially network, communication, operating system and control technology, promote the model of collaborative computing environment to be accepted and adopted by the field of industrial control. Major foreign companies have launched CNC products called "open", which can be divided into three categories:

(1) CNC in PC. This kind of product is to insert the motion control card or complete CNC unit into the slot of IPC machine. The main products are paradym-31 of wizdomcontrols, which adopts PMAC programmable multi axis motion control card of deltatau to realize motion control and put it into IPC. The advantages are: ① low cost (using standard computer). ② User defined software can be run. ③ The interface is more friendly than traditional CNC

(2) PC is the front end and CNC is the back end. The representative products are SINUMERIK840D, which uses PC as the front end and can configure the NC axis. Traditional CNC is selected because it can complete the control of up to 10 axes, and some complex 5-axis machining can only be realized by traditional CNC

(3) single PC, dual CPU platform. This product makes full use of current use
